Description
The Zurn Wilkins 38-740 is a 3/8" lead-free carbonated beverage backflow preventer with FNPT connections. It features a stainless body. Rated to 200 psi and up to 110°F. This model is certified lead-free for potable-water installations.
The 740 Carbonated Beverage Backflow Preventer is utilized in both carbonated and non-carbonated beverage dispensing systems to eliminate carbon dioxide gas or carbonated water from coming into contact with the copper potable water supply line. Primarily installed in vending machine supply lines, it can be installed vertically or horizontally for added versatility and convenience. Features of the 740 include an integral strainer to prevent check fouling caused by unwanted debris. The high quality stainless steel valve body, tailpieces, fasteners, spring, and screen add superior corrosion-resistance.
