The Watts LFNLF9 3/8 is a 3/8" lead-free dual check valve, approved for low health hazard protection. It features a rubber seat. Rated to 150 psi and 33°F to 180°F. This model is certified lead-free for potable-water installations.

This 3/8 inch lead free dual check vacuum breaker backflow preventer for laboratory faucets prevents the reverse flow of polluted water from entering into the potable water supply where portable hoses can be attached. It is designed for health hazard non-continuous pressure applications. It consists of a chrome plated lead free body construction, dual check valves, stainless steel working parts, and durable rubber diaphragm and disc.

It is rated for low health hazard (non-toxic, "pollutant") cross-connections only. Where the substance downstream could be a health hazard, codes require a reduced pressure zone (RPZ) assembly instead. The assembly is listed to ASSE 1035.
