Watts AP341 Float Valve, Glass-Reinforced Nylon

The Watts AP341 is a piston-operated trough float valve for livestock watering and agricultural water supply, serviceable in place. It features a glass-reinforced nylon body and a buna-n seat. Rated to 60 psi.

This 3/4 and 1 inch economy float valve is piston operated and has a medium to high flow rate. The valve is serviceable and can be installed in a submerged application with a float attached to a cord and nipple to avoid damage to the arm or above the water level to avoid back flow.

Common Questions

Can I use it on drinking water?

No. This valve is not certified lead-free and is for non-potable service only — cooling tower and refrigeration make-up, irrigation, livestock watering and tank fill. Do not install it on a potable water supply.

What is the flow capacity?

50+ GPM @ 60 psi. Size the valve to how fast the tank or trough has to refill, not just to the pipe it lands on.
