Watts XS134LT Float Valve, Glass-Reinforced Nylon

The Watts XS134LT is a piston-operated trough float valve for livestock watering and agricultural water supply, serviceable in place. It features a glass-reinforced nylon body and a buna-n seat. Rated to 70 psi.

This high flow long tail float valve is piston operated, the valve can be fully serviced by hand and in place. It has a male camlock outlet that allows for the water supply to be used for other means such as cleaning down machinery and filling up water storage tanks. The valve also comes with a shut off pin allowing the water supply to valve to be shut off.

Common Questions

Does this include the float ball and rod?

Yes. This valve has an integral float and installs complete; there is no separate float ball or 3/8"-16 rod to buy, unlike the Watts bronze lever-arm float valves.

Can I use it on drinking water?

No. This valve is not certified lead-free and is for non-potable service only — cooling tower and refrigeration make-up, irrigation, livestock watering and tank fill. Do not install it on a potable water supply.

What is the flow capacity?

80+ GPM @ 70 psi. Size the valve to how fast the tank or trough has to refill, not just to the pipe it lands on.
