Watts 2 LFF113FP THD Lead-Free RPZ Backflow Preventer, Ductile Iron, NPT

The Watts 2 LFF113FP THD is a 2" lead-free globe-pattern reduced pressure zone (RPZ) backflow preventer with NPT connections. It features a ductile iron body and a epdm seat. Rated to up to 300°F. This model is certified lead-free for potable-water installations.

This 2 inch smart flood protection ACV with threaded end connections and SentryPlus Alert wireless alert system prevents catastrophic property damage due to excessive RPZ backflow relief valve discharge by continuously monitoring for excess discharge, and closing the water supply to the backflow during potentially catastrophic flood conditions. If the RPZ relief valve opens, excess flow trips the flow sensor which energizes the solenoid and closes the valve. They feature a time delay to prevent false alarms and a control valve switch to provide an indication of valve closure. SentryPlus Alert technology provides multi-channel alert notifications in real time if there is an issue action can be taken. Alerts can be a text, email, or phone call.

This valve is built with EPDM elastomers, good to about 300°F. Watts offers the same body with Buna-N (to 160°F), FKM/Viton (to 250°F) or EPDM (to 300°F) — pick the elastomer for your fluid temperature, not the body.
