Watts LFF113FP THD-FP2 1 1/4 Lead-Free RPZ Backflow Preventer, Ductile Iron, NPT

The Watts LFF113FP THD-FP2 1 1/4 is a 1-1/4" lead-free globe-pattern reduced pressure zone (RPZ) backflow preventer with NPT connections. It features a ductile iron body and a epdm seat. Rated to up to 300°F. This model is certified lead-free for potable-water installations.

This 1 1/4 inch LFF113FP flood protection shutdown control valve protects against property damage caused by continuous discharge from a reduced pressure zone backflow assembly. With SentryPlus Alert® continuous monitoring technology in place, the flood sensor and sensor activation module attached to the assembly relief valve signal the relay box when discharge is continuous. The activation module includes a tiny time delay to prevent signaling based on intermittent or nuisance relief valve discharges. Activated through an add-on connection kit, the sensor can trigger the alert system sending notification of flood detection to facility personnel. This Classic valve style has a globe body pattern with threaded end connections.

What fluid temperature can the EPDM trim handle?

This valve is built with EPDM elastomers, good to about 300°F. Watts offers the same body with Buna-N (to 160°F), FKM/Viton (to 250°F) or EPDM (to 300°F) — pick the elastomer for your fluid temperature, not the body.
