The Watts S1450F-STD is a 1/2" pressure reducing valve with Sweat connections. It reduces high or fluctuating inlet pressure to a lower, constant downstream pressure. It features a bronze body. Rated to 100 psi and up to 212°F.

This water pressure regulator is used on boiler feed lines to maintain pressure and to provide make up water to the system. It consists of an iron and bronze body construction with NPT threaded inlet and outlet connections, an attached iron body, diaphragm relief valve, a tight seating check valve, purge lever for manual purging, and a stainless steel strainer. It has a maximum working pressure of 100psi and maximum temperature of 212 degrees Fahrenheit.

Does it include a strainer?

Yes - S1450F-STD has an integral stainless steel strainer built into the body, so you do not need a separate inline strainer ahead of it. The strainer is removable for cleaning; if the valve starts to lose downstream pressure, pull and rinse the strainer before assuming the seat has failed.

Does it come with a gauge?

No - S1450F-STD has no gauge and no gauge tapping. Set the outlet pressure using a gauge elsewhere on the downstream piping.
