Watts PIPF-S 1 1/4 Ball Valve, Brass, Sweat

The Watts PIPF-S 1 1/4 is a 1-1/4" ball valve with Sweat connections. It features a brass body and a fkm (viton) seat. Rated to 400 psi and up to 406°F.

This 1 1/4 inch isolation pump is designed to facilitate circulator pump replacement or repairs while the integral purge port facilitates system purging. It features a swivel flange that allows the purge port to be positioned for optimal purging convenience, brass body and flange with a bottom loaded blowout proof stem, solder inlet and outlet and an adjustable packing gland. The pressure is rated 400 psi (28 bar) WOG and the maximum temperature is 406 F (208 C) at 100 psi (6.9 bar).

Common Questions

Can I use this on natural gas or propane?

No. This valve carries no fuel-gas listing, and code requires an ANSI Z21.15 / CSA listed valve for natural gas or LP. Use a Watts GBV series gas ball valve instead.

Is this rated for potable water?

No. This is a leaded model and cannot be installed in US potable-water systems. Watts builds a lead-free (LF-prefix) equivalent for potable service.
