The Watts RES2 is a 2" pilot-diaphragm tank and reservoir fill valve that runs at full flow until it shuts off, cutting pump wear on large pump-fed tanks. It features a glass-reinforced nylon body. Rated to 60 psi.
This 2 inch reservoir tank valve is piston operated and fully serviceable. It has a high flow rate, is made from non-corrosive materials and is UV stabilized. This valve is suited for large storage tanks and reservoirs where instant water level replacement is required.

- Does this include the float ball and rod?
- Yes. This valve has an integral float and installs complete; there is no separate float ball or 3/8"-16 rod to buy, unlike the Watts bronze lever-arm float valves.
- Can I use it on drinking water?
- No. This valve is not certified lead-free and is for non-potable service only — cooling tower and refrigeration make-up, irrigation, livestock watering and tank fill. Do not install it on a potable water supply.
- What is the flow capacity?
- 135+ GPM @ 60 psi. Size the valve to how fast the tank or trough has to refill, not just to the pipe it lands on.
