The Watts LF757DCDA-BFG-GPM 2 1/2 is a 2-1/2" lead-free double check detector assembly (DCDA) with Grooved connections, approved for high health hazard protection. It features a stainless body and a rubber seat. Rated to 175 psi and 33°F to 140°F. This model is certified lead-free for potable-water installations.
This 10 inch lead free reduced pressure detector assembly is designed to prevent the reverse flow of fire protection substances and water of non-potable quality from being pumped or siphoned into the potable water supply due to backsiphonage and or backpressure in accordance with national plumbing codes and water authority requirements. Extremely compact and lighter than traditional designs it is approved for horizontal installation. It is ideal for protection at cross-connections identified as health hazards such as on fire sprinkler systems and from other contaminants found at the service line entrance. This assembly without a meter consists of a stainless steel body with a quick access sleeve, torsion spring check valves, resilient seated gate valves with outside stem and yoke, test cocks, and a corrosive resistant bottom mounted pressure relief valve.
