Watts LF26A 3-50 3/8 Lead-Free Pressure Reducing Valve, Brass, NPT

The Watts LF26A 3-50 3/8 is a 3/8" lead-free pressure reducing valve with NPT connections. It reduces inlet pressure of up to 300 psi to an adjustable 3-50 psi downstream, factory set at 15 psi. It features a brass body and a buna-n seat. Rated to 300 psi and 0°F to 140°F. This model is certified lead-free for potable-water installations.

This 3/8 inch lead free small water pressure regulator is used in small general purpose applications to regulate water pressure in piping systems using water and No. 2 fuel oil. It has an oversized orifice and is ideally used on beverage dispensing and paint spraying equipment, ice cube machines, humidifiers, drinking fountains, and other small process applications. It consists of a lead free brass body with an adjusting tee handle, NPT threaded female connections, two-way low water pressure gauge port, aluminum spring cage, Buna-N stainless steel disc, and a reinforced Buna-N diaphragm. The reduced water pressure range is 3 to 50 psi (0.2 to 3.4 bar) and is factory set at 15 psi (1.0 bar).

What pressure is it set to out of the box?

LF26A 3-50 3/8 ships factory set at 15 psi. The adjustable reduced-pressure range is 3 to 50 psi, so you can dial the outlet anywhere in that band on site with the adjusting screw - loosen the locknut, turn in to raise pressure and out to lower it, then retighten and verify with a gauge.

Does it include a strainer?

No - LF26A 3-50 3/8 does not have an integral strainer. On dirty or older supply lines, install a separate inline strainer upstream to keep debris off the seat.

Does it come with a gauge?

LF26A 3-50 3/8 has a gauge tapping (port) but no gauge is included - the port ships plugged. Thread in your own gauge to read the reduced downstream pressure.
