Watts LF4001E 3/4 Lead-Free Union, Sweat

The Watts LF4001E 3/4 is a lead-free Sweat union. This model is certified lead-free for potable-water installations.

This 3/4 inch lead free dielectric union device electrically separates the water heater from the piping and provides a convenient way to disconnect the piping for removal or servicing of an appliance. Designed to be installed between the pipes made from dissimilar metals to prevent accelerated corrosion and deterioration in the piping system due to galvanic and stray current. Ideal in applications such as hot water storage tanks, water and air conditioners, processing tanks, steam, gas, and water piping. It consists of a female iron pipe thread to a solder pipe connection, union nut, two tailpieces, and a gasket that separates the tailpieces to prevent an electric current from occurring.
