Common Questions

What does the bonnet letter mean?

Bonnet type T sets the maximum rated inlet pressure at 225 psi and the residual-outlet curve this valve was built to. Choose the bonnet from Zurn’s residual-pressure chart using your inlet flow pressure and GPM demand, not by picking the highest number.

Is this factory-set or field-adjustable?

Factory-set. This is a Pressure-Tru® ZW4000/ZW4004 series valve, set at the factory to the bonnet’s rated pressure; it is not field-adjustable. If you need to set or change the outlet pressure on site, use the ZW5000/ZW5004 field-adjustable series instead.
