Description
The Zurn QQP4GX is a 3/4" brass plug -- 3/4" PEX Barb Plug. It features a brass body. Rated to 160 psi.
Zurn PEX® XL-Low Lead Brass Plug. The QQP_GX allows for pressure testing of the system or a permanent stop. Manufactured from EcoBrass®,C69300. These fittings, as a system with Zurn PEX® tube, are pressure rated at 160 PSI at 73°F , 100 PSI at 180°F , and 80 PSI at 200°F. These fit- tings are listed by NSF as complying with the following standards: NSF/ANSI Standard 14, NSF/ANSI Standard 61 including Annex G, ASTM F877, CSA B137.5, and ASTM F1807.

Common Questions
- Crimp or expansion fitting -- which is this?
- This is a crimp/insert fitting (ASTM F1807): the barb pushes into the PEX tubing and a separate copper or stainless crimp ring is compressed over the joint with a crimp tool. It is not a cold-expansion (ASTM F1960, "ProPEX-style") fitting, which uses no loose ring at all -- the two systems are not interchangeable without swapping tooling.
