Zurn 34-P1550XL-125 3/4" Lead-Free Pressure Relief Valve, Non-Adjustable, Lead-Free Bronze, NPT

The Zurn Wilkins 34-P1550XL-125 is a 3/4" lead-free pressure relief valve for cold water service (pump / system relief), factory set at 125 psi. It features a lead-free bronze body. Rated to 175 psi and up to 210°F. This model is certified lead-free for potable-water installations.

The P1550XL Pressure Relief Valve protects against excessive pressure buildup on cold water service lines. The P1550XL is for pressure only, and is utilized in conjunction with other temperature-limiting devices. Features include fixed pressure relief valve settings of 75 psi and 125 psi (imported), and male NPT inlet and female NPT outlet connections. Its low-lead cast bronze valve body and stainless steel internals and springs protect against corrosion. Suitable for static relief, low capacity pump relief, passive solar, and thermal expansion relief applications, it can also be used in similar capacities for both commercial and industrial applications.

Common Questions

What pressure is this valve set to?

It is factory set to relieve at 125 psi. The setting is fixed and is not field-adjustable. Note the 175 psi figure in the specifications is the body's rated working pressure, not this valve's relief point - it opens at 125 psi.

Can I use this on potable water?

Yes - it is certified lead-free under NSF/ANSI 372, which plumbing codes require for any device in a drinking-water line.
