Watts WAS 1/2 Thermostatic Mixing Valve, Brass, Sweat

The Watts WAS 1/2 is a 1/2" anti-sweat valve with Sweat connections. It features a brass body.

This 1/2 inch anti-sweat valve is used in residential applications for mixing hot water with the cold water supply to temper the water inside the toilet tank to prevent condensation build-up on the outside of the tank. It features a brass body with IPS male connections and includes compression nuts and sleeves for alternative means of connection. The maximum temperature is 180 degree F (82C).

Can I use this at a lavatory — is it ASSE 1070 listed?

No. This is an anti-sweat valve — it tempers the water feeding a toilet tank to stop condensation on the outside of the tank. It carries no ASSE listing, delivers no water to a user, and is not a mixing valve for a lavatory, tub or shower.

What temperature range does it deliver?
