Watts SS263APM1-3-50 1/4 Pressure Reducing Valve, Stainless, NPT

The Watts SS263APM1-3-50 1/4 is a 1/4" pressure reducing valve with NPT connections. It reduces inlet pressure of up to 400 psi to an adjustable 3-50 psi downstream, factory set at 15 psi. It features a stainless body and a buna-n seat. Rated to 400 psi and 0°F to 140°F.

This 1/4 inch compact 3-way small water pressure regulator is designed for use with deionized water, chemical solutions, high purity water purification systems and low pressure steam 15 psi (1.0 bar) applications. It has an oversized orifice and is ideally used on beverage dispensing and paint spraying equipment, ice cube machines, humidifiers, drinking fountains, and other small process applications. It consists of a compact stainless steel body and spring cage, compact stainless steel adjusting screw, NPT threaded female connections, three way low-pressure gauge port, Buna-N compact stainless steel disc, and a reinforced Buna-N diaphragm. The temperature range is 33 to 120 degrees F (0.5 to 49 degrees C). The reduced pressure range is 3 to 50 psi (0.2 to 3.5 bar) and the pressure is set at 15 psi (1.0 bar).

What pressure is it set to out of the box?

SS263APM1-3-50 1/4 ships factory set at 15 psi. The adjustable reduced-pressure range is 3 to 50 psi, so you can dial the outlet anywhere in that band on site with the adjusting screw - loosen the locknut, turn in to raise pressure and out to lower it, then retighten and verify with a gauge.

Does it include a strainer?

No - SS263APM1-3-50 1/4 does not have an integral strainer. On dirty or older supply lines, install a separate inline strainer upstream to keep debris off the seat.

Does it come with a gauge?

SS263APM1-3-50 1/4 has a gauge tapping (port) but no gauge is included - the port ships plugged. Thread in your own gauge to read the reduced downstream pressure.
