Watts RA34 3/4" Float Valve, Glass-Reinforced Nylon

The Watts RA34 is a 3/4" pilot-diaphragm tank and reservoir fill valve that runs at full flow until it shuts off, cutting pump wear on large pump-fed tanks. It features a glass-reinforced nylon body and a buna-n seat.

This 3/4 inch rain water tank valve has a large flow rate and is easily adjusted for many different tanks and reservoirs. The valve provides use of rainwater primarily and in the event of low rainfall will automatically cut over to municipal water. This valve is diaphragm activated and has a steel pin that runs inside the pilot center which acts as a self cleaning mechanism which is unique to Apex valves.

Common Questions

Does this include the float ball and rod?

Yes. This valve has an integral float and installs complete; there is no separate float ball or 3/8"-16 rod to buy, unlike the Watts bronze lever-arm float valves.

Can I use it on drinking water?

No. This valve is not certified lead-free and is for non-potable service only — cooling tower and refrigeration make-up, irrigation, livestock watering and tank fill. Do not install it on a potable water supply.
