It is designed for the point of use or point of entry applications where higher flow rates are required. The system has a 36 inch diameter mineral tank, contains 20 cubic feet of high capacity ion exchange resin per tank, and has a peak flow rate up to 250 gallons per minute, per tank. Each mineral tank has its own brine tank. It has a 3 inch flange slip PVC schedule 80 inlet and 3 inch flange threaded PVC schedule 80 outlet and a flange slip PVC schedule 80 1 1/2 inch drain connection. This unit exchanges scale forming calcium and magnesium ions with non-scale forming sodium ions to create soft water for a variety of applications.
