The Watts PWS20131J11 is a cation resin complete system. It features a brass body.
This simplex water softening system is a high efficient conventional cation exchange type water softener. It is designed for the point of use or point of entry applications where the benefits of softened water is required. The system has a 36 inch diameter mineral tank, contains 20 cubic feet of high capacity ion exchange resin, and has a peak flow rate of up to 105 gallons per minute. It has a 2" FNPT inlet and outlet and a 1 1/2" MNPT drain connection. This unit exchanges scale forming calcium and magnesium ions with non-scale forming sodium ions to create soft water for a variety of applications. This high quality system comes with a mineral tank, resin, and control valve that is NSF and ANSI certified. The corrosion resistant brass control valve is operated by an electronic controller that stores key operational history that can be accessed by the user. The system is metered demand initiated so regeneration only occurs when necessary which saves time, water, and salt. Includes a Salt Level Sensor, standard on commercial systems with mineral tanks 24 inches and larger, enabling Nexa® and BMS integration for remote monitoring.
