Watts PWJPL40M100 Cartridge

The Watts PWJPL40M100 is a sediment (melt blown) cartridge rated at 100 micron. It is rated to 40 psi and 40°F to 140°F.

This model 40, 100 absolute micron pleated sediment filter features a greater surface area than a wound, spun or melt blown filter. Its lower pressure drop allows for increased flow rates and the use of a smaller filter housings to reduce capital equipment costs. The synthetic filter media is cellulose-free and contains no additives or binders which may cause foaming. The increased dirt holding capacity with longer life and fewer cartridge replacements reduces the filtration costs compared to other pleated cartridge suppliers. The thicker filter media has a greater capacity to capture and retain the particles compared to thin, more rigid media types which have less void space for particle retention. The temperature range is from 40 F to 140 F (4.4 C to 60 C) and the maximum water pressure is 40 psi.
