Watts LFWPBVD-12 3/4" Lead-Free Ball Valve, Brass, PEX

The Watts LFWPBVD-12 is a 3/4" lead-free 2-piece full port ball valve with PEX connections. It features a brass body and a fkm (viton) seat. Rated to 160 psi. This model is certified lead-free for potable-water installations.

This 2-piece full port ball valve is designed for use with WaterPEX ® piping. It features a forged brass body with waste drain, chrome plated brass ball, virgin PTFE seats, stem packing, and Viton ® stem O-ring. This ball valve has 3/4 inch crimp end connections designed for use with WaterPEX ® tubing. The ball valve rating is 400 WOG and the crimp connection is rated to 160 psi at 73 degrees F (11 bar at 23 degrees C).

Common Questions

Is this full port or standard port?

Full port. The ball bore matches the 3/4" pipe ID, so the valve adds almost no restriction — the right choice for pump suction, main shutoffs, and any run where you cannot give up head.

Can I use this on natural gas or propane?

No. This valve carries no fuel-gas listing, and code requires an ANSI Z21.15 / CSA listed valve for natural gas or LP. Use a Watts GBV series gas ball valve instead.

Is this rated for potable water?

Yes. It is a lead-free model (weighted lead content at or below 0.25%), so it is legal for potable water. Check the spec sheet if your submittal specifically requires an NSF/ANSI 61 listing.

Can it be serviced without cutting it out?

No. A 2-piece body is not designed for in-line rebuild; it is replaced as a unit. Choose a three-piece valve (LFB6800 / S-6800 series) where in-line serviceability matters.
