Watts LFPV20CB 1/2" Lead-Free Pressure Reducing Valve, NPT

The Watts LFPV20CB is a 1/2" lead-free pressure reducing valve with NPT connections. It features a epdm seat. Rated to 450 psi and up to 300°F. This model is certified lead-free for potable-water installations.

This 1/2 inch 20-200 psig model LFPV20CB, is a direct sensed direct acting diaphragm actuated system pressure relief valve. The intended installations are in systems where it is anticipated that the internal pressure exceeds the rated pressure of the system components or for installation downstream of a pressure reducing valve in accordance with ANSI/NFPA 13.

What fluid temperature can the EPDM trim handle?

This valve is built with EPDM elastomers, good to about 300°F. Watts offers the same body with Buna-N (to 160°F), FKM/Viton (to 250°F) or EPDM (to 300°F) — pick the elastomer for your fluid temperature, not the body.
