This 1 inch 2-piece full port lead free ball valve is used in commercial and industrial applications for a full range of liquids and gases. It features a lead free brass body with solder end connections, bottom-loaded blowout proof stem, virgin PTFE seat, thrust washer, adjustable stem packing gland, stem packing nut, stainless steel ball and stem, lead free brass adapter and steel handle. The pressure rating is 600 psi WOG and 150 psi WSP.

Common Questions
- Is this full port or standard port?
- Full port. The ball bore matches the 1" pipe ID, so the valve adds almost no restriction — the right choice for pump suction, main shutoffs, and any run where you cannot give up head.
- Can I use this on natural gas or propane?
- No. This valve carries no fuel-gas listing, and code requires an ANSI Z21.15 / CSA listed valve for natural gas or LP. Use a Watts GBV series gas ball valve instead.
- Is this rated for potable water?
- Yes. It is a lead-free model (weighted lead content at or below 0.25%), so it is legal for potable water. Check the spec sheet if your submittal specifically requires an NSF/ANSI 61 listing.
- What's the steam rating?
- 150 psi WSP (saturated steam). Do not size steam service off the 600 psi figure — that is the WOG/CWP rating (cold water, oil, gas, non-shock).
- Can it be serviced without cutting it out?
- No. A 2-piece body is not designed for in-line rebuild; it is replaced as a unit. Choose a three-piece valve (LFB6800 / S-6800 series) where in-line serviceability matters.
