The Watts LFEMVII6400SS-24-18 1 is a 1" lead-free 2-piece standard port ball valve with a factory-mounted 24 VAC electric actuator and manual override. It features a copper body and a ptfe seat. Rated to 600 psi and up to 131°F. This model is certified lead-free for potable-water installations.
The 1 inch electric motor valve is used in commercial HVAC and light industrial systems. It is ideal for applications such as a zone control valve for space heating with hot water or steam and air conditioning with chilled water. It's remotely operated for controlling the flow of steam, water, or air. Can be used as a drain or a blown down valve to eliminate water from compressed air lines and systems. It features a 2 pc standard port lead free copper silicon alloy motorized ball valve that consist of an electrically actuated motor 24 VAC with 18 second cycle time, 316 stainless steel ball, bottom loaded blowout proof stem, standard position indicator, adjustable PTFE packing, Durafill ® PTFE seals and bubble-tight shutoff. It has a manual override standard, comes completely assembled and mountable in any position (horizontal for steam applications). Pressure rating is 600 psi WOG (non-shock) and 100 psi (7 bar) WSP. Maximum ambient temperature is 150 F (66 C).

- Is this full port or standard port?
- Standard (conventional) port. The ball bore is one size down from the pipe, which trades a small pressure drop for a smaller, lighter, lower-torque valve. Fine for isolation duty; specify a full port model if flow is critical.
- Can I use this on natural gas or propane?
- No. This valve carries no fuel-gas listing, and code requires an ANSI Z21.15 / CSA listed valve for natural gas or LP. Use a Watts GBV series gas ball valve instead.
- Is this rated for potable water?
- Yes. It is a lead-free model (weighted lead content at or below 0.25%), so it is legal for potable water. Check the spec sheet if your submittal specifically requires an NSF/ANSI 61 listing.
- Do I need to add an actuator?
- No — the actuator is factory-mounted and wired for 24 VAC power, with manual override standard. The valve arrives assembled and can be mounted in any position (horizontal for steam).
- What's the steam rating?
- 100 psi WSP (saturated steam). Do not size steam service off the 600 psi figure — that is the WOG/CWP rating (cold water, oil, gas, non-shock).
- Can it be serviced without cutting it out?
- No. A 2-piece body is not designed for in-line rebuild; it is replaced as a unit. Choose a three-piece valve (LFB6800 / S-6800 series) where in-line serviceability matters.
