Watts LFB6800 3/4 Lead-Free Ball Valve, NPT

The Watts LFB6800 3/4 is a 3/4" lead-free 3-piece full port ball valve with NPT connections. It features a ptfe seat. Rated to 600 psi. This model is certified lead-free for potable-water installations.

This 3/4 inch 3-piece full port lead free ball valve is used in commercial and industrial applications. It features an in-line maintenance design that offers serviceability of all operating parts without disturbing the piping system. The full port orifice ensures maximum flow capacity. This valve consists of a lead free body with threaded NPT end connections, reinforced PTFE Durafill ® seat, chrome plated lead free brass ball, and blow-out proof stem to provide safety and high operating pressure/temperature limits.

Common Questions

Is this full port or standard port?

Full port. The ball bore matches the 3/4" pipe ID, so the valve adds almost no restriction — the right choice for pump suction, main shutoffs, and any run where you cannot give up head.

Can I use this on natural gas or propane?

No. This valve carries no fuel-gas listing, and code requires an ANSI Z21.15 / CSA listed valve for natural gas or LP. Use a Watts GBV series gas ball valve instead.

Is this rated for potable water?

Yes. It is a lead-free model (weighted lead content at or below 0.25%), so it is legal for potable water. Check the spec sheet if your submittal specifically requires an NSF/ANSI 61 listing.

Can I actuate this valve?

Yes. The body has integral actuator mounting pads, so an electric or pneumatic actuator bolts straight on without a bracket kit. For a ready-to-wire assembly, look at the LFEMVII electric ball valves.

Can it be serviced without cutting it out?

Yes. The three-piece body unbolts so the center section — ball, seats, and stem — can be rebuilt with the end caps left in the line.
