This 6-inch lead-free, testable double check detector backflow assembly is designed to prevent the reverse flow of non-toxic but undesirable substances into the potable water system. Its streamlined structure includes two independently functioning tri-link check valves, four test cocks, and two shutoff valves. Constructed with a stainless steel body and sleeve, the unit is approximately 70% lighter than conventional models. Suitable for continuous pressure systems, it protects against both backpressure and backsiphonage in non-health hazard scenarios. Commonly installed on fire sprinkler systems, it also helps monitor unauthorized water usage. It supports a maximum working pressure of 175 psi (12.06 bar).
