The Watts LF27-40 1/4 is a 1/4" lead-free v-pattern-pattern strainer with NPT connections that removes pipeline debris and particulates to protect downstream equipment. It ships with a 40 mesh 304 stainless steel screen. It features a copper body. Rated to 250 psi. This model is certified lead-free for potable-water installations.

This 1/4 inch lead free V-pattern strainer is designed to protect system components from dirt, rust, and other damaging debris in the piping system. This strainer is ideal for beverage dispensers, ice cube machines, dental equipment, instrument control systems, and similar applications. This assembly consists of a lead free body construction, threaded end connections, and a 40 mesh screen.

Can I get a finer or coarser screen?

Yes. Watts builds this body with a range of screens and encodes the choice in the model number, so a finer or coarser screen is a different part number rather than an accessory. This one is 40 mesh. Finer screens catch smaller particles but clog faster and cost more pressure drop, so size the screen to the debris you actually have.

Does it have a blowoff / blowdown port?
