The Watts LF215M1 0-20 3/8 is a 3/8" lead-free pressure reducing valve with FNPT connections. It reduces inlet pressure of up to 300 psi to an adjustable 0-20 psi downstream, factory set at 10 psi. It features a brass body. Rated to 300 psi and 0°F to 120°F. This model is certified lead-free for potable-water installations.

This 3/8 inch super sensitive lead free water pressure regulator is designed to meet low water pressure precision requirements. It is used in applications requiring low pressure, super-sensitive regulation in systems using water or No. 2 fuel oil. The high ratio of the diaphragm to the orifice provides excellent performance and stability at a low reduced pressure. It is ideally suited for water requirements up to 2.5 GPM (9.5 LPM) and is suitable for the water pressure supply to the wall attachment of fluidic devices. It consists of a lead free brass body with a tee handle, female NPT connections, replaceable stainless steel seat, large diaphragm, and 30 mesh stainless steel strainer. The reduced water pressure range is 0 to 20 psi (0 to 138 kPa) with the water pressure set at 10 psi (69 kPa). The temperature range is 0 to 120 degrees F (-18 to 49 degrees C).

What pressure is it set to out of the box?

LF215M1 0-20 3/8 ships factory set at 10 psi. The adjustable reduced-pressure range is 0 to 20 psi, so you can dial the outlet anywhere in that band on site with the adjusting screw - loosen the locknut, turn in to raise pressure and out to lower it, then retighten and verify with a gauge.

Does it include a strainer?

Yes - LF215M1 0-20 3/8 has an integral stainless steel strainer built into the body, so you do not need a separate inline strainer ahead of it. The strainer is removable for cleaning; if the valve starts to lose downstream pressure, pull and rinse the strainer before assuming the seat has failed.

Does it come with a gauge?

No - LF215M1 0-20 3/8 has no gauge and no gauge tapping. Set the outlet pressure using a gauge elsewhere on the downstream piping.
