The Watts LF150A-HA 3/4 is a lead-free rechargeable tank-type water hammer arrestor with NPT connections. It absorbs the pressure spike a quick-closing valve or appliance creates, protecting piping and fixtures from banging and shock damage. It features a rubber seat. Rated to 150 psi and up to 180°F. This model is certified lead-free for potable-water installations.

This 3/4" lead free water hammer arrestor with hose thread adapter provides economical and effective single fixture protection used in residential water system applications such as washing machines applications. It is designed to control the water pressure shock and prevent water hammer conditions that are damaging to pipes and appliances. It consists of a stainless steel top and lower chamber, sealed-in diaphragm which flexes to absorb the shock, and a lead free brass hex adapter with 3/4" lead free brass hose thread adapter for direct mounting to a washing machine shutoff valve. It may be installed in new or existing plumbing systems vertically, horizontally or at any angle and should be installed as close to the shock source as possible with one unit for each hot and cold water lines up to 150 psi (10.6 bar) working pressure. It is factory air charged at 30 psi (207 kPa) and is easily rechargeable with a standard tire valve connection and air-tight sealing cap.

What size do I need for my fixtures?

The LF150A-HA 3/4 is a single-fixture arrestor and is not rated by PDI letter size — size it to the connection at the fixture it serves, and install one unit on each of the hot and cold lines, as close to the shock source as possible. If your specification calls out a PDI size (AA–F) for a multi-fixture branch, use a PDI-rated model such as the LF15M2 or SS series instead.

Is it ASSE 1010 certified?
