This triple check vacuum breaker is designed for vending machine water supply lines to prevent the reverse flow of contaminates, such as carbon dioxide gas and carbonated water, from entering the potable water supply. It has 3/8" connection, stainless steel body construction, rubber parts, dual check valve, ball check valve, and an atmospheric vent. It is suitable for continuous pressure applications and complies with FDA food additive regulations. The maximum working pressure is 50 psi (10.3 bar).

- It is rated for low health hazard (non-toxic, "pollutant") cross-connections only. Where the substance downstream could be a health hazard, codes require a reduced pressure zone (RPZ) assembly instead.
- Can this be installed on potable water?
- No. This model is not certified lead-free, so it may not be installed in potable water systems in states enforcing the NSF/ANSI 372 weighted-average lead rule. Use it on non-potable service — fire lines, irrigation or industrial water — or order the LF (lead-free) version of this model for drinking-water use.
- Can this device be field tested?
