This 150,000 grain capacity Pure Water quadplex progressive water softening system is a high efficient conventional cation exchange type water softener featuring the Watts LOCKSMITH™ control valve. It is designed for the point of use or point of entry applications where higher flow rates are required. The system has a 18 inch diameter mineral tank, contains 5 cubic feet of high capacity ion exchange resin per tank, and has a peak flow rate up to 77 gallons per minute, per tank. It has a 1 1/2 inch FNPT inlet and outlet and a 1 inch MNPT drain connection. This unit exchanges scale forming calcium and magnesium ions with non-scale forming sodium ions to create soft water for a variety of applications. This high quality system comes with a mineral tank, resin, and control valve that are NSF and ANSI certified. The durable brass control valve is highly configurable and easy to maintain operated by an electronic controller that stores key operational history that can be accessed by the user. The system is metered demand initiated so regeneration only occurs when necessary which saves time, water, and salt.
