The Watts PWS10T181B21 is a cation resin complete system.

This twin alternating water softening system is a high efficient conventional cation exchange type water softener. It is designed for the point of use or point of entry applications where softened water is required around the clock. The system has a 10 inch diameter mineral tank, contains 1 1/2 cubic feet of high capacity ion exchange resin per tank, and has a peak flow rate of up to 15 gallons per minute. It has a 1" FNPT inlet and outlet and a 1/2" FNPT drain connection. This unit exchanges scale forming calcium and magnesium ions with non-scale forming sodium ions to create soft water for a variety of applications. This high quality system comes with a mineral tank, resin, and control valve that are NSF and ANSI certified. The durable corrosion-free fiber-reinforced polymer valve body is operated by an electronic controller that stores key operational history that can be accessed by the user. The system is metered demand initiated so regeneration only occurs when necessary which saves time, water, and salt.
