Watts 3 LFFBV-3C-M1 Lead-Free Ball Valve, Brass, FNPT

The Watts 3 LFFBV-3C-M1 is a 3" lead-free 2-piece full port ball valve with female FNPT connections. It features a brass body and a ptfe seat. Rated to 600 psi and 0°F to 400°F. This model is certified lead-free for potable-water installations.

This 3 inch two-piece full port ball valve is used in residential and commercial potable water applications, suitable for a full range of liquids and gases. This valve features a lead free brass body and adapter, female threaded end connections, adjustable packing gland, chrome plated lead free brass ball, virgin PTFE seats and seals, a bottom loaded blowout proof stem, and steel handle. The temperature range is 0 to 400 degrees F (-18 to 204 degrees C) and the pressure rating is 400 psi (27.6 bar) WOG non-shock and 125 psi (8.6 bar) WSP. Certified NSF-61/ANSI 8, UL listed, FM and CSA approved.

Is this full port or standard port?

Full port. The ball bore matches the 3" pipe ID, so the valve adds almost no restriction — the right choice for pump suction, main shutoffs, and any run where you cannot give up head.

Can I use this on natural gas or propane?

Yes. This model is CSA certified for fuel gas (ANSI Z21.15 / CSA 9.1) and is intended for natural gas and LP service on indoor piping. Install per local fuel-gas code.

Is this rated for potable water?
