Watts 220P1 Float Valve, Glass-Reinforced Nylon, Barb

The Watts 220P1 is a 1" piston-operated trough float valve for livestock watering and agricultural water supply, serviceable in place. It features a glass-reinforced nylon body and a buna-n seat. Rated to 200 psi.

This 1 inch float valve is piston operated and has removable seats giving it flow variability. The valve is serviceable and comes with a barbed outlet to fit a silencer tube for cistern applications.

Common Questions

Can I use it on drinking water?

No. This valve is not certified lead-free and is for non-potable service only — cooling tower and refrigeration make-up, irrigation, livestock watering and tank fill. Do not install it on a potable water supply.

What is the flow capacity?

3-15 GPM. Size the valve to how fast the tank or trough has to refill, not just to the pipe it lands on.
