The Watts 2-1/2 LFFBV-3-PRESS-M2 is a 2-1/2" lead-free 2-piece full port ball valve with Press connections. It features a brass body and a epdm seat. Rated to 250 psi. This model is certified lead-free for potable-water installations.

This 2 1/2 inch lead free two-piece, full port, ball valve with integral press end fittings is designed for use in plumbing, heating, and potable water applications. It features a lead free brass body, adjustable packing gland, and bottom-loaded blowout proof stem. It is made with integral ASTM-B88 compliant press end connections that are designed for types K, L and M hard copper tubing. The press fitting is rated to 250 psi CWP up to 100 degrees F.

Is this full port or standard port?

Full port. The ball bore matches the 2-1/2" pipe ID, so the valve adds almost no restriction — the right choice for pump suction, main shutoffs, and any run where you cannot give up head.

Can I use this on natural gas or propane?

No. This valve carries no fuel-gas listing, and code requires an ANSI Z21.15 / CSA listed valve for natural gas or LP. Use a Watts GBV series gas ball valve instead.

Is this rated for potable water?

Yes. It is a lead-free model certified to NSF/ANSI 61 and NSF/ANSI 372, so it meets the Safe Drinking Water Act limit for potable-water service.

Can it be serviced without cutting it out?

No. A 2-piece body is not designed for in-line rebuild; it is replaced as a unit. Choose a three-piece valve (LFB6800 / S-6800 series) where in-line serviceability matters.
