Watts 152AT-5-40 2 Pressure Reducing Valve, Cast Iron

The Watts 152AT-5-40 2 is a 2" process steam pressure regulator. It reduces inlet pressure of up to 300 psi to an adjustable 5-40 psi downstream. It features a cast iron body and a ptfe seat. Rated to 300 psi and up to 300°F.

This 2 inch process steam pressure regulator is designed for autoclaves, steam tables/irons, vulcanizers and single radiators. It is also used on sterilizers, process lines, testing fixtures and oil lines. It is highly sensitive to reduced pressure changes, and carries full volume with minimum pressure drop. It features an iron body with tight seating and PTFE valve disc, and adjusting spring for reduced pressure range of 5 to 40 psi (0.34 to 2.8 bar).

What pressure is it set to out of the box?

The adjustable reduced-pressure range of 152AT-5-40 2 is 5 to 40 psi. Verify the outlet setting with a gauge after installation and adjust to your target pressure.

Does it include a strainer?

Yes - 152AT-5-40 2 has an integral stainless steel strainer built into the body, so you do not need a separate inline strainer ahead of it. The strainer is removable for cleaning; if the valve starts to lose downstream pressure, pull and rinse the strainer before assuming the seat has failed.

Does it come with a gauge?

No - 152AT-5-40 2 has no gauge and no gauge tapping. Set the outlet pressure using a gauge elsewhere on the downstream piping.
