Watts 152A-Z1 3/4 Pressure Reducing Valve, Cast Iron

The Watts 152A-Z1 3/4 is a 3/4" process steam pressure regulator. It reduces inlet pressure of up to 300 psi to an adjustable 30-100 psi downstream. It features a cast iron body. Rated to 300 psi and up to 300°F.

This 2 inch process steam pressure regulator is designed for autoclaves, steam tables/irons, vulcanizers and single radiators. It is also used on sterilizers, process lines, testing fixtures and oil lines. It is highly sensitive to reduced pressure changes, and carries full volume with minimum pressure drop. Features an iron body with inlet set at 15 psi, outlet set at 5 psi, initial pressure up to 200 psi and adjusting spring for reduced pressure range of 30 to 100 psi (2.1 to 6.9 bar).

Does it include a strainer?

Yes - 152A-Z1 3/4 has an integral stainless steel strainer built into the body, so you do not need a separate inline strainer ahead of it. The strainer is removable for cleaning; if the valve starts to lose downstream pressure, pull and rinse the strainer before assuming the seat has failed.

Does it come with a gauge?

No - 152A-Z1 3/4 has no gauge and no gauge tapping. Set the outlet pressure using a gauge elsewhere on the downstream piping.
