The Watts W7200 is a 1" sanitary butterfly valve with Tube Weld connections and a 316L stainless steel disc, operated by a pull-to-unlock lever handle. It features a stainless body and a epdm seat.

This 1" Watts model W7200 is a two-piece butterfly valve with tube weld connections. Constructed from 316L stainless steel with high polished internals, this compact butterfly valve offers clean, permanent connection and reliable shutoff for hygienic applications. Ideal for liquid cooling, food and beverage and other industrial systems, it comes standard with a manual lever handle featuring a pull-to-unlock safety mechanism.

Is this valve suitable for food, beverage, or hygienic service?

Yes. The body and disc are 316L stainless steel with a 32 Ra polished internal finish to limit product entrapment, and the valve is designed for clean-in-place and steam-in-place (CIP/SIP) cycles as well as liquid-cooling loops.

How does this valve connect to my line?

It has tube weld ends in 1", which give a permanent, crevice-free joint with no gasket to trap product — but it must be welded in, so plan on removing the disc and seat before welding. If you need to break the line for cleaning or service, the W7400 version of this valve has Tri Clamp ends instead.
