Watts LF05H-M1 3/4 Lead-Free Water Hammer Arrestor, NPT

The Watts LF05H-M1 3/4 is a lead-free compact single-fixture water hammer arrestor with NPT connections. It absorbs the pressure spike a quick-closing valve or appliance creates, protecting piping and fixtures from banging and shock damage. It is rated to 150 psi. This model is certified lead-free for potable-water installations.

This lead free 3/4 inch mini water hammer arrestor provides economical and effective single fixture protection used in residential water system applications such as dishwasher or washing machine applications. It is designed to provide automatic, repetitive control of water hammer in residential and light industrial applications and prevent water hammer conditions that are damaging to pipes and appliances. This is a factory air charged, permanently sealed unit with hose thread end connections and a straight body design, branch tee. It should be installed as close to the shock source as possible with one unit each for the hot and cold water lines. The temperature range is 33 to 180 degrees F (0.5 to 82 degrees C) and the operating pressure is up to 150 psi (10.3 bar).

What size do I need for my fixtures?

The LF05H-M1 3/4 is a single-fixture arrestor and is not rated by PDI letter size — size it to the connection at the fixture it serves, and install one unit on each of the hot and cold lines, as close to the shock source as possible. If your specification calls out a PDI size (AA–F) for a multi-fixture branch, use a PDI-rated model such as the LF15M2 or SS series instead.
