- This ProPress 316 fitting is made for use with Viega ProPress stainless tubing. It is CTS sized: an IPS pipe of the same nominal size has a different outside diameter and will not seal in it.
- Which press tool and jaw do I need?
- Press it with jaws or rings made for the ProPress profile. A jaw made for a different profile will not make a warrantable joint.
- What temperature and pressure is it rated for?
- It seals with a factory-installed EPDM sealing element, rated 0°F to 250°F (Viega seals and gaskets data). Viega's application chart rates this system to 200 psi.
