The Viega MegaPress press-in branch connector (model 4812.3, order code 26885) has a Press-In for 6" pipe x 3/4" FNPT port configuration and is made for use with Sch. 10 carbon steel pipe only. It features a carbon steel body. Rated to 0°F to 250°F.

- Which pipe does this fitting fit?
- This MegaPress fitting is made for use with Sch. 10 carbon steel pipe only. It is IPS sized: an CTS pipe of the same nominal size has a different outside diameter and will not seal in it.
- What temperature and pressure is it rated for?
- It seals with a factory-installed EPDM sealing element, rated 0°F to 250°F (Viega seals and gaskets data).
- Can it be used on drinking water?
- Viega's application chart does not list MegaPress for potable water. For drinking water use ProPress copper, ProPress 316 or MegaPress 316 with an EPDM element.
