The TOTO TET3GBi431#SS is an ECOPOWER touchless (sensor) flush valve for 1.6 GPF toilets with a 1-1/2" back spud inlet, concealed behind a 4" x 4" stainless steel cover plate. It ships complete with TOTO's 1" angle stop and 1-1/2" vacuum breaker set. Its water-driven turbine recharges the power supply during use, so the valve is self-powered with no minimum daily usage requirement. It includes the long-range (LoRa) IoT communication card.
The water-powered turbine in the EcoPower flush valve charges the power supply during usage and provides maximum performance in even the most demanding, high-traffic commercial spaces.

- Is this the valve only, or does it include the vacuum breaker?
- It is complete: the valve ships with TOTO's 1-1/2" vacuum breaker set for a back spud toilet.
- Does it need electrical power?
- No outside power: TOTO builds it as a self-powered hydroelectric system. Water flowing through the valve turns a turbine that recharges the power supply, and there is no minimum daily usage requirement.
- Will it fit my toilet?
- It is for a toilet with a 1-1/2" back spud inlet (TOTO's back spud sets are for wall-hung toilets). Pair it with a toilet bowl rated for 1.6 GPF.
- Can it be installed in California and other high-efficiency states?
- No. TOTO's 2026 Price Book states this 1.6 GPF model cannot be installed in CA, CO, GA, MA, NJ, NY, TX and WA due to high-efficiency requirements.
