Common Questions
- What fixture and flush volume is this valve for?
- Per Sloan's own spec, it serves a water closet, 1.28 gallons per flush, a rear spud connection.
- Is this exposed or concealed, and does it need a wall box?
- Concealed -- the body sits behind the wall, with only the cover or trim visible.
- How is it powered, and what happens in a power outage?
- Hardwired -- no battery to replace, but an electrician must run power to it. It has a true mechanical override, so it still flushes by hand if power is lost.

- Yes -- Sloan lists it as ADA, WaterSense and ASSE-1037.
