Common Questions

What fixture and flush volume is this valve for?

Per Sloan's own spec, it serves a water closet, 1.28 gallons per flush.

Is this exposed or concealed, and does it need a wall box?

Concealed -- the body sits behind the wall, with only the cover or trim visible.

How is it powered, and what happens in a power outage?

Hardwired -- no battery to replace, but an electrician must run power to it. It has a true mechanical override, so it still flushes by hand if power is lost.

Is this ADA, WaterSense, or ASSE 1037 listed?

Yes -- Sloan lists it as ADA, WaterSense and ASSE-1037.
