Common Questions

What fixture and flush volume is this valve for?

Per Sloan's own spec, it serves a urinal, 0.5 gallons per flush, a rear spud connection.

Is this exposed or concealed, and does it need a wall box?

Concealed -- the body sits behind the wall, with only the cover or trim visible. It ships with a less wall box wall box.

How is it powered, and what happens in a power outage?

Solar-powered, with a battery back-up for low-light conditions. It has a true mechanical override, so it still flushes by hand if power is lost.
