Sloan EL-1001-A Chrome Plated ES-S Water Closet Electronic Sensor Plate with Override Button

The Sloan EL-1001-A is a polished chrome sensor for Regal ESS, Sloan ESS and Crown ESS.

The EL-1001-A sensor assembly is a sensor replacement for Sloan®, Regal®, or Crown® Optima® ES-S (electronic solenoid sensor) style flushometers. The EL-1001-A sensor assembly includes an electrical override and is intended for water closet flushometers operating with a 24V electrical supply. The sensor plate is chrome plated and mounts onto the wall. An IR sensor is a type of sensor that detects the presence of an object or a person using infrared light. When an object or person comes close to the sensor, the IR light is reflected back to the sensor, which triggers the flushometer to initiate a flush cycle. Sloan offers additional sensors and repair parts based on your flushometer needs.

Common Questions

What flush valves does this part fit?

Sloan's own parts data lists this as fitting Regal ESS, Sloan ESS and Crown ESS. Match the model or series stamped on your existing flushometer before ordering -- Sloan changes internal parts between series, so a wrong part number is a common return.

Is this a genuine Sloan part?

Yes. The EL-1001-A is a factory-original Sloan Valve Company replacement part, not an aftermarket equivalent.
