The EL-595-A sensor assembly includes an electrical override and is intended for flushometers operating with a 24V electrical supply. The sensor plate is brushed nickel plated and mounts onto the wall. An IR sensor is a type of sensor that detects the presence of an object or a person using infrared light. When an object or person comes close to the sensor, the IR light is reflected back to the sensor, which triggers the flushometer to initiate a flush cycle.
