Common Questions
- Is this BSPT or another thread?
- This one cuts BSPT threads. NPT, NPSM or BSPP dies are different parts, so match the thread standard to the fittings you are threading.
- Will it thread stainless steel?
- This is the standard High Speed grade. RIDGID sells a separate High Speed for Stainless grade for stainless pipe, so check for that version before you thread stainless.
- Is this left hand?
- Yes. It cuts left-hand threads; standard dies cut right-hand threads.
