Common Questions

Is this valve certified for Methane?

Yes -- this Chicago Faucets fitting is built and indexed for Methane service (index button/label: CH4). It is not interchangeable with a fitting indexed for a different medium: laboratory gas fittings are certified per-service, so swapping a valve between gases is a code violation, not just a labeling mismatch.

Does this ship with the mounting shank?

Yes -- this configuration ships "With Shank," so the mounting shank is included and no separate shank purchase is needed to install it.
